I am a custom photographer specializing in portraits, I work throughout the Anchorage/Eagle River area. I have lived in Alaska for a total of 19 years.
Since I was old enough to pick up a camera, I have loved photography.
My love of photography has only grown as I now see how quickly the way life changes and realize the importance of capturing it on film. I am so thrilled to have the opportunity to do something I truly love.
My studies include Film and Video Production at The Art Institute of Denver, and Journalism at The University of Anchorage Alaska. I feel fortunate to have studied both film and photography. I have four beautiful children who have been my muses since the day each was born. I love that I have been able to capture so much of their growth and development on film. Their photographs are some of my most prized possessions, and are priceless to me.
My style is carefree and casual. I capture images of your special event, family, newborn, baby, child, or high school senior in unique and original ways. My specialty is photographing in natural light, on location, throughout our community. I want to take your photos in a location in which you and your loved ones are most comfortable, whether it's near Flat Top, Kincaid, Downtown, the Eagle River Nature Center, the Kenai River or right in your own home or backyard. Because portraits are my passion, I will take as many photos as you like. We will have a wonderful portfolio of one of a kind photos after the session that will be treasured for a lifetime.
